雪菲爾 (Sheffield) 位於英國中部的南約克郡 (South Yorkshire)。城市早期為圍繞古堡廣場發展的小型市集城鎮，並於十九世紀工業革命期間崛起，憑藉精湛的金屬加工技術，特別是在鍍銀餐具與不鏽鋼製造領域的卓越工藝，逐步成為享譽全球的鋼鐵工業重鎮。雪菲爾至今仍具備深厚的材料科學與先進製造基礎，並持續延伸至高科技產業與創新研發，包含先進製造園區與智慧工程等新興領域。現今的雪菲爾已發展為融合創新科技、教育研究、文化創意與自然環境的現代城市，同時也是英國重要的區域經濟與文化中心。

學校設施
雪菲爾大學擁有一座於1966年啟用的二級古蹟建築 - 藝術塔 (Arts Tower)。此塔曾在1965年至2010年間為城市最高建築，最初作為多個學系的所在地，如今已改建為行政大樓，僅保留歐洲僅存的帕特諾斯特設計電梯與建築學系的教學空間。藝術塔與正對面的西銀行圖書館 (Western Bank Library) 設有天橋連結，便於師生往返兩座建築大樓。該圖書館設有展示藝廊，收藏兩萬五千冊稀有書籍與逾百件獨特館藏。

住宿相關
雪菲爾大學擁有市內最具規模的學生宿舍區，營造充滿活力且舒適的居住環境。大學保障國際學生第一年的住宿資格，並提供完善的住宿諮詢服務。學生可選擇入住校內宿舍，或洽詢合適的校外住宿。
• 學校宿舍房型多元，包含雅房 (共用衛浴與廚房)、套房 (個人衛浴、共用廚房)、獨立套房 (個人衛浴與廚房)，以及適合情侶或家庭學生的公寓式房型，滿足不同學生的生活需求。
雪菲爾大學的宿舍分為兩大區域: Ranmoor/Endcliffe Residences, and City Residences。
• Ranmoor/Endcliffe Residences: 位於綠意盎然的景區，環境安全友善，步行即可抵達校園與市中心。宿舍設有交誼中心、生活商店、健身中心、學生酒吧與自助洗衣等設施，生活機能相當便利。
• City Residences: 坐落於市中心，步行即可前往各大教學區、購物中心、餐廳、綠地公園、醫院與藝文特區。宿舍設有交誼中心、影音廳、遊戲室與服務中心，方便學生享受城市生活。
課程介紹
雪菲爾大學提供多元領域的科系選擇，並配備最先進的教學設施與優質的研究資源。其中近三十個學系的研究成果獲評為優異。學校設有五座博士教育的工程與物理科學研究中心 (EPSRC)，相關學系享有極高的國際聲譽，研究領域包含能源研究、冶金學、核能開發與水利工程等。
