伯明翰大學 (University of Birmingham) 擁有深厚的學術基石，其歷史可追溯至十八世紀的皇后學院 (Queen's College) 與梅生學院 (Mason College)，此兩間學院為當地著名的醫學院校。伯明翰大學於1900年由維多利亞女王授予皇家特許資格，成為英國第一間紅磚大學，為新世代高等教育的指標性學府，更為許多領域的先驅，包含: 提供牙醫學位、設立商學院、提供女性宿舍、成立學生協會等。現今已成為英國最具規模的校園之一，並於2009年歡慶校園內第一座標的性建築的百年創建日。

環境介紹
伯明翰市 (Birmingham) 位於英格蘭中部，為英國第二具規模的城市，於中世紀時期為貿易之城，伴隨工業革命的崛起，城市進入工業的啟蒙時期，當地的技術、科學、經濟等急速發展，城市躍身成為歐洲舉足輕重的工業和商業重鎮，同時為全球最具規模與種類最廣泛的金屬加工區，為之後的工業社會奠下創新的基石，並成為當世紀世界首座製造之城；城市的工業輝煌時期自十八世紀延續至二十世紀末。

住宿相關

．皮切特公園宿舍區: 位於艾吉巴斯頓區，步行約10分鐘便可抵達主校區。該區宿舍可容納約七百位學生入住。宿舍為自炊式，提供兩房型選擇: 雅房 (共用衛浴、共用廚房)、獨立套房 (個人衛浴、個人廚房)。宿舍區中心設置交誼空間 - Leos Lounge，提供咖啡廳、酒吧、餐廳等餐飲服務，同時設置閱覽空間，提供學生學習的環境、以及現場音樂會等休閒展演空間。
